On July 24, the Leapmotor B01 all-electric sedan officially entered the market in China, offering six trims with CLTC ranges of 430 km, 550 km, and 650 km.
Consumers can choose from eight exterior paints.
The Leapmotor B01 is built on the LEAP 3.5 modular architecture with a drag coefficient of 0.197 Cd, dimensions (l/w/h) of 4770/1880/1490 mm, and a wheelbase of 2735 mm. Four curb weights are available in 1550 kg, 1625 kg, 1660 kg, and 1711 kg.
The built-in Leapmotor Pilot is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 intelligent driving chip and can realize 26 advanced driving assistance capabilities including highway/city navigation on autopilot and parking assist. The standard sensor set has five cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars, while the high-end trim comes with 10 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, three millimeter-wave radars, and one 128-line lidar. The lidar has a detection range of 300 m and a field of view of 140°.
The entire series is RWD.
Coming to the interior, consumers can choose either a gray or purple theme. The cockpit features a flat-bottom steering wheel, an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 14.6-inch 2.5K central control screen. The vehicle operating system is supported by the Leapmotor OS 4.0 Plus and sits on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P or 8295P chip, depending on the trims. DeepSeek’s AI model is also integrated into the operating system to realize an AI voice assistant.
In front of the co-pilot seat are six “magic expansion holes”, which can be installed with structures such as foldable tables and mobile phone holders.
The standard trunk volume is 460 L.
