Xiaomi Auto delivered 300,000 cars in 15 months in China

Xiaomi Auto delivered 300,000 units 15 months after the market launch in China. The young car brand has been delivering 647 vehicles per day on average. Its current model line includes three models.

Xiaomi founder and chairman Lei Jun founded the automotive branch in 2021. Its first model, the SU7 electric sedan, debuted in December 2023. It was launched on March 28, 2024. This car rapidly became a hot seller in China. The brand’s second model, the SU7 Ultra sports car, started sales in China on February 27. The Xiaomi Auto launched the YU7 crossover on June 26. It started deliveries on July 6.

Xiaomi Auto cumulative deliveries

Xiaomi announced on July 10 that its cumulative deliveries reached 300,000 units. Brand’s officials shared that it took only 15 months to accomplish this volume. According to data obtained by CarNewsChina, the first Xiaomi vehicle was delivered to an owner on April 3, 2024.

We have calculated that Xiaomi spent 464 days to reach this delivery number. It means Xiaomi has been delivering 647 vehicles per day on average. It is around 27 units per hour. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Auto delivered 511 cars per day last year. In 2025, this number rose to 840 units daily. It is more than one vehicle delivered every two minutes. Xiaomi Auto has delivered 160,513 vehicles this year.

It took Xiaomi over seven months to deliver 100,000 cars to their owners. However, the 200,000th car was handed over to an owner just four months later. Three and a half more months after, Xiaomi’s cumulative deliveries reached 300,000 vehicles.
